 Commissioned by his family, Gil Dominique Guillory posed for this piece at 98 — a man who roared like a lion but charmed the ladies with his lively wit and caring spirit. Gil was of humble Cajun decent and rose to become highly successful, contributing widely to his community and raising three exceptional daughters near Memphis, TN. As a widower, he had a romantic second marriage at 90 to a lively 86-year-old beauty. They remained delightfully romantic for many happy years. This work captures the broad spectra of his rare personality.
