SENATOR JOHN SPARKMAN

 Commissioned by the City of Hartselle, this bust honors Senator John Sparkman, who was born in that small Alabama town and served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1936 to 1946 and then became Alabama's longest-serving U.S. Senator, serving from 1946 to 1979.
